My first attempt at imaging a planet. I hope to gather many more images of the “King” planet in the future. The north and south equatorial bands are evident along with the great “red spot.” One of the 4 Galilean moons (the four largest) can be seen just to the right of the planet in the photo. This image was taken using frames captured using the Orion StarShoot USB Eyepiece II camera on an 11” Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.
